Elliot Holokauahi Pulham

Partner | Advisor | Consultant

A seasoned senior executive with nearly 30 years’ experience in the space and aerospace sectors, Elliot Holokauahi Pulham is a Partner and co-owner of Hana Hou Partners LLC of Colorado Springs; an Advisor to Space-Tec GmbH of Munich; and a consultant to Apogeo Spatial and Blueline Publishing LLC of Denver, among others.  For nearly 16 years Mr. Pulham was Chief Executive Officer of The Space Foundation, taking the small, obscure non-profit to international prominence within the space sector, quadrupling employment, quintupling annual turnover, and growing the foundation’s annual Space Symposium from 485 participants in 1998 to more than 12,000 by 2016.

From 1988-1998 Mr. Pulham was responsible for public affairs, advertising and employee communication for all space programs of The Boeing Company.  He served on the merger/transition teams for the Boeing acquisition of Rockwell’s space portfolio, and the merger of Boeing and McDonnell Douglas.  He earned the Public Relations Society of America’s highest honor, the Silver Anvil Award, for leading the industry team that rebuilt Congressional and public support for the International Space Station program in the wake of a one-vote near death experience.  He was an advisor to three Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, and was awarded the U.S. Air Force Distinguished Public Service Medal - the highest honor the service can bestow upon a civilian.  He was also awarded the RNASA Foundation Space Communicator Award, an honor he shares with the late CBS News Anchor Walter Cronkite and astrophysicist Dr. Neil de Grasse Tyson.
